- Soyjak Siege

Soyjak Siege starts innocently enough. A few odd-looking enemies wander onto the screen, you shoot them down, pick up experience points, and continue forward. Then five minutes pass. Suddenly, there are monsters everywhere, projectiles are flying in every direction, and you're desperately searching for a safe place to stand. Spoiler alert: there probably isn't one.

The game drops you into the role of Chud, a fighter exploring the strange world of Shartaia. Somewhere out there, the mysterious Gems have disappeared, and the eccentric Dr. Soystein seems to be connected to the trouble. While the story gives the journey purpose, most of your attention will be on staying alive long enough to see what happens next.
Every region feels a little more dangerous than the last. Enemy groups become larger, tougher, and far less polite. Some rush straight at you. Others attack from a distance. A few seem perfectly happy to let dozens of their friends do the hard work while they wait for an opening.
Thankfully, Chud doesn't have to rely on a single weapon. New equipment becomes available throughout the adventure, allowing players to experiment with different approaches. Some builds focus on raw damage. Others are better at sweeping away entire crowds. There isn't one perfect solution, which makes discovering powerful combinations especially satisfying.
The boss battles deserve a warning. They can get wild.
A fight may begin normally, but before long, the screen is packed with attacks moving in every direction. Winning often has less to do with shooting accurately and more to do with keeping calm while chaos unfolds around you. Learning attack patterns becomes just as important as upgrading your gear.
Your task is to survive each wave of enemies and continue pushing deeper into Shartaia.
Defeating enemies grants experience points. When enough experience is collected, you'll gain a level and choose a new upgrade. These upgrades can improve weapons, strengthen abilities, or increase your chances of surviving future encounters.
The longer a run lasts, the more intense the action becomes. Enemy numbers grow rapidly, stronger opponents appear, and bosses become increasingly difficult to defeat.
Soyjak Siege is easy to understand but much harder to master. One moment you're comfortably clearing enemies, and the next you're squeezing through impossible-looking gaps while wondering how everything became so chaotic. That's exactly what makes it fun.
