Poople Overview

Poople is a tiny daily word game with one wonderfully silly goal: get from the starting four-letter word to POOP. Yep, that is the destination. No dragons, no boss battles, no complicated rules - just words, letters, and a suspicious amount of determination. If you enjoy Wordle, Weaver, or quick brain teasers, Poople is an easy little challenge to squeeze into your day.

Every puzzle gives you a four-letter starting word. From there, your job is to change one letter at a time until you reach POOP. There is one important catch: every word in your ladder must be a real four-letter English word. So, unfortunately, “QWIP” is not going to save you, even if it feels like it should be a word.

The goal is simple: solve the puzzle in as few moves as possible. Once you reach POOP, you can check your route against the shortest available path and see how efficiently your brain did its wordy little dance.

How to Play

Playing Poople takes less than a minute, but finding the perfect route can be surprisingly tricky.

1. Look at the starting word at the top of the puzzle.
2. Change exactly one letter to create a new, valid four-letter English word.
3. Keep changing one letter per move, making sure every new word is valid.
4. Continue until your word becomes POOP.
5. Try again mentally if you think you can find a shorter route. Fewer moves mean a better score!

For example, if you can change one letter and create a valid word, that word becomes your next step. You cannot rearrange all the letters, add extra letters, or turn the word into complete alphabet soup. One letter changes. That’s the rule.
